Home of Softness

Homewear is part of the life we return to every day: the quiet morning, the evening on the sofa, the moment we change out of work clothes. At GIGIWARM, we believe these familiar moments deserve clothing made with care. Gentleness, safety and ease are the ideas behind our name. They guide our approach to the fabric against your skin, the making of each garment and the comfort we want to bring into your home.

Our roots are in Puyuan, Zhejiang, China, where we have researched, developed and manufactured garments since 2014, specialising in Cloud Knit loungewear and seamless knit intimates. Our story began with two founders who kept encountering the same problems in fleece sleepwear: pilling, shedding and inconsistent textile safety. They returned to the yarn and knitting process, refining the material through dozens of sample rounds. That work became the foundation of our Cloud Knit (Half Velvet) homewear. With a factory of our own, we now bring that focus directly to the people who wear our clothes.

Comfort Begins with the Fabric

Cloud Knit (Half Velvet) is our signature plush fabric for slow mornings and evenings at home. Its fine pile feels soft against the skin, while a dense knit helps hold warmth. We refine the yarn and knitting process for reduced static cling and resistance to pilling and shedding, bringing comfort to the pieces you reach for day after day.

Made in Our Own Factory

Our own factory produces five million sets annually. Knitting, dyeing and setting, cutting, sewing, garment finishing, inspection and packaging all take place in-house, without outsourced assembly. Having these stages together keeps fabric development close to the people making the garments. It allows us to consider the material, construction and finished piece as connected parts of one process. From incoming yarn to the garment ready for packing, our work follows the product through the stages that make it yours.

Designed Around Life at Home

Everyday routines give our design work its purpose. We think about the clothes you reach for when the day slows down, and the way fabric becomes part of that experience. Softness, warmth and ease matter together. We want the finished garment to feel inviting to wear, with a place in your everyday home wardrobe. Our approach starts with the relationship between the material and the person wearing it, bringing attention to clothing for the quieter parts of life.

Care Beyond the First Wear

A soft first touch is only the beginning. Our founders wanted to address the pilling and shedding that can change how people feel about their homewear over time. That concern continues through our material development, production checks and textile testing. We approach durability as an ongoing goal, paying attention to the fabric and the finished garment together. Our intention is to make pieces that remain welcome in your wardrobe, with care that begins before they ever reach your home.

From Our Factory to Your Home

GIGIWARM connects the work of making homewear with the experience of wearing it. Research, development and production are rooted in our own operation, and we bring our products directly to consumers. This factory-direct approach reduces middleman markups. For us, value starts with the product: the yarn, the fabric, the making and the checks behind the finished piece. Buying from GIGIWARM connects you with that source, and with the work that goes into your homewear before it reaches your door.

From our beginnings in Puyuan to the Cloud Knit (Half Velvet) pieces we make today, our purpose remains personal: to bring thoughtfully developed homewear into everyday life. We want the comfort you experience to reflect the care that goes into the material and its making. The following details explain that work more closely, from the qualities we seek in the fabric to the checks carried out before a garment leaves our factory.

CLOUD KNIT

We develop Cloud Knit (Half Velvet) from the yarn up in our own factory. We use a high-density knit to create its fine plush surface, then carry the fabric through dyeing and setting, cutting and sewing. Keeping these stages together lets us refine the texture and finished garment as one continuous process.

A GENTLE TOUCH

Our founders worked through dozens of sample rounds to refine the yarn and knitting process. A gentle feel against the skin was central to that work, alongside resistance to pilling and reduced shedding. We wanted to consider both the first touch and the experience of wearing the fabric.

EVERYDAY WARMTH

Air held between the fabric’s fibres helps retain body heat. This is part of how Cloud Knit (Half Velvet) provides warmth for everyday homewear. We develop the material with that function in mind, alongside a soft feel for the moments when you settle in at home.

REDUCED STATIC

Modified anti-static yarn helps reduce static build-up in our Cloud Knit (Half Velvet) fabric. Alongside warmth, softness, resistance to pilling and reduced shedding, it addresses a practical concern about how homewear feels to wear. These details are considered together in our material development.

MATERIAL CHECKS

Our quality process begins with sampling incoming materials. Checks cover colourfastness, pilling, formaldehyde and pH, bringing attention to both fabric performance and textile safety before the garment is made. These early checks are the first stage of the quality programme behind GIGIWARM homewear.

IN-PROCESS CARE

First-piece approval takes place before mass production. During production, checks continue on workmanship, pattern and stitch density. Keeping this attention within the making process helps us consider the details of construction while the garment is taking shape, alongside the fabric choices that came before it.

EVERY PIECE CHECKED

Every finished garment is manually inspected before packing. Appearance, loose threads, sizing errors and defects are included in these checks. This attention to each piece is the final in-house inspection stage, connecting our production process with the finished homewear that leaves our factory.

BATCH TESTING

Every production batch undergoes third-party testing. Reports cover Class A textile safety testing, pilling, colourfastness and checks for banned azo dyes. Together with incoming sampling, in-process checks and manual inspection of every finished garment, this testing forms part of the quality programme behind our homewear.
